Malaysian Holiday Part II

After our stop at Ipoh town, we went straight up to Langkawi ..
It was almost a 3 hours drive from Ipoh to the Kuala Kedah jetty as this is where we will take a ferry to Langkawi Island ..

We boarded an evening ferry packed with people ..
It was a rocky ride as the waves were going crazy as the sun goes down ..

Finally we reached the Langkawi jetty at night ..
No pictures guys as I didn't take .. I was too tired ..
We rented a car for us to drive around Langkawi .. Boon Siong was the driver .. It was an old Proton Iswara with clutch problem .. What to do .. We are budget travellers ..
We stayed at Langkasuka Resort which is nearby the town ..

We went to the beach the next day to relax ..
Me and Bao went for a traditional Thai massage .. There are many spa and massage parlour in Langkawi ..
The guys went to beach to have a swim ..

For our final trip, we went to Penang ..
I drove all the way from my grandparents house in Alor Setar all the way to Penang ..
Although its only 2 hours drive but still .. with the hot sun .. it didn't help ..
All the 3 of them were sleeping in the car .. Except me! I become the driver ..

We stopped at Gurney Plaza to have lunch ..
Went to this food court upstairs which overlook the beach of Penang ..
