Holiday in Krabi Island

I went for a holiday to Krabi Island in Thailand on the Christmas Eve of 2007 .. Krabi Island is a new tourist destination .. It is a few hours away from Phi Phi Island .. I don't want to go to Phuket or Phi Phi as it is very expensive there .. I'm a budget traveller that's why ..

I took Air Asia flight straight to Krabi Airport .. It was almost a 2 hours flight ..

From the airport, I took a cab to Aonang town to look for a hotel .. Taxi fare inclusive of travel agent was only 600Bht .. And I like Thailand's taxi .. Its a Toyota Altis .. So comfy ..
We got a room in this budget hotel for 500Bht/night which was very cheap considering the condition of the room .. See below ..

After lunch, we went for a stroll in the streets of Aonang .. Everywhere I see, not one Asian tourists in sight .. All ang mohs ..

There were many restaurants to choose from ..
It was Christmas Eve so everywhere was packed with tourists ..

We finally found one restaurant that serves Thai food .. In Thailand must eat Thai food .. Don't eat Italian cuisine or Western cuisine .. If not, you are so stupid ..
The best part is .. They serve BEERS!!

After all that food, we took a stroll along the beach to burn all those food .. Then there is this guy selling Kong Ming lantern .. This lantern is where people write their wish on the lantern, lit it up and let it fly into the sky .. People believe that whatever you wished for will come true ..
So my friend decide to light one up ..

As time almost reaching midnight, we decided to celebrate Christmas Eve at this little pub and have some beer ..

The next day, we woke up early in the morning to go for our island tour ..
We sat in this long old speedboat ..
